Step 2. Keep lunch “light”⁣⁣
Step 3. Hold yourself over with a portion controlled yogurt cup⁣⁣
Step 4. Repeat for 3 days⁣⁣
Step 5. Inhale more cookie dough than the cookie monster, beat yourself up for having zero willpower, and adopt an “I don’t care” attitude until 2021 ⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣The harder you stretch that rubber band, the harder it will snap back. The more rules and restrictions you put in place – the faster, harder and bigger you’ll rebound. ⁣⁣
Instead of stripping down your meals, try adding texture, color and other macros to the mix because it could mean the difference between⁣⁣⁣
>> black out eating the family size bag of chocolate covered pretzels⁣⁣
>> locking eyes with your partner as you drink egg nog from the carton⁣⁣
>> shaming yourself for binging Santa’s cookies after the kiddos go to bed⁣⁣⁣
…and a holiday week of calm. ⁣⁣⁣
Don’t roll into the new year feeling like a dumpster fire. Eat like you respect yourself and commit to being just 1% better each day. ⁣⁣
Make a change for more satisfying and filling snacks by adding a sizable portion of other macros – as well as color, texture and flavor. Food should fuel you. It’s kind of the point of eating!⁣⁣⁣
