I don’t know who needs to hear this but: dieting can’t be your hobby.
How much of your day do you think about eating?
What you will eat next?
What you wish you could eat?
What you wish you hadn’t eaten?
What about your body?
I want to fit into the clothes I wore pre-pregnancy.
I hate the cellulite on my legs.
I wish my arms didn’t jiggle arms so I could wear sleeveless tops.
>> how much of your day do you spend feeling guilty for what you ate, for what you weigh, for basically being you?
>> how much of your day do you spend thinking about the weight you’ve gained or the weight you haven’t lost? Or, the weight you wish you had lost or the weight you plan to lose? are you counting down until your next diet?
>> how much of your day do you spend reading articles, books, or scouring social media accounts looking for a *magical* protocol that will provide some extra edge and solve your problems?
>> how many of your days to you spend hating your body when you pass mirrors, go clothes shopping, or pose for pictures?
I don’t know about you, but just thinking about this makes me want to take a nap 💤
If this ^^^ sounds like you: dieting has become your hobby and it’s time for you to reclaim your life (and get new hobbies!)
