so you blew your macros, what now?

One of the biggest mindset blocks that keeps people from being successful with a macros approach is an “all or nothing” mentality. Is this you?⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
“If I can’t hit my macros exactly, I won’t even bother tracking.”⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
“If I am already over my macros, I will just keep overeating.”⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
“If I can’t log it easily, I just quit tracking for the rest of the day.” ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
“If I am short on one macro, I’ll just blow the other two because the day is a wash anyway.”⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
You know this is NUTS – right?⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Perfection is *not* required with the macros approach – which is one of the reasons why it resonates with my results driven, high achieving clients. Just like you will never be able to accurately account for every single calorie you expend every day, you will will never be able to accurately account for every single calorie you consume every day. There are so many pieces of this method that are flawed – but even with flaws, it’s one of the only approaches to nutrition where we can make predictable changes in body composition and athletic performance. ⁣⁣⁣

Tell your “all or nothing” mindset to buzz off so you can stress less about your eating.
